Factory Records & Peter Saville
Factory records has also been one of these recent comments and intrests of my personal practice as a graphic designer. Inwhich the overall contributions of Peter Saville and endless ground breaking sounds coming from Factory Records is becoming an obsession of mine.
Not only the overall outlook of design within this era but also the overall approuch of questioning what design is within the large controlled conception of the music industry.
Looking back at it all now there is a clear sense of expression and thought behind Saville's practice. Where as today this style and approuch of expressionistic design can be seen almost everywhere. Knowing that Peter Saville can be considered a trend setter amongs the names of David Carson and Neville Brody.
